This picture is a side view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, in The Italian Dolomites and the day when I have shoot this images was a day during a workshop. So after many days of pretty flat skies we went into this vantage point during a stormy afternoon. During the last hours of the day we have been trampled by a pretty hard summer storm. It was very exciting and at the same time a little risky, a thrilling experience in the eye of the storm and students were very happy.
I have used 14-24 an umbrella and some wipe for clean the drops the rain was strong and with wind. The location is pretty easy to reach from the parking is 1 hour hike and about 300/400mt of elevation. The equipment needed is standard hiking equipment and trekking poles and headlight for return. I am available for private tours in the area.
